Life Balance Programs
Defining a Critical Path
We focus on a specific critical issue or question in your life and explore it in depth. We define a critical path for achieving your goals and develop a plan for implementing it. As part of this process, we conduct an assessment of your priorities based on your values. And we isolate those personal characteristics that stand in the way of you experiencing life balance.
Creating a Life Map™
We examine your life’s purpose and what it means in the context of balancing your life. Building upon the foundation we created in Level 1, we create a Life Map™, a holistic blueprint that integrates all of your personal and professional goals and addresses how to balance conflicting goals and priorities. We work with specific issues that arise around implementing your strategic plan.
What’s Next?
It is not uncommon to be successful in achieving your professional goals and find yourself asking, what’s next? Likewise many successful people start to feel a sharp sense of lack of meaning in their work or their life as a whole. In this program we identify what gives vitality and purpose to your life, create possibilities for a sense of renewal, and develop plans for what might be next.
Time Out Intensive
This program is appropriate for the executive who wants to take a reflective time out to examine what it is they are trying to achieve and what’s getting in the way. We use self-assessment tools to help you verbalize what’s throwing your life off balance, we challenge you with hard questions, and we push you to move forward in your life.
Changes & Transitions
We focus exclusively on a particular change or transition that is occurring in your life (or one that you wish to have happen). We create a plan that addresses that change, and we explore how to keep your life in balance during this transition. Examples of the types of changes that are appropriate for this program include selling your business, leaving your job, changing careers, and getting a divorce. Some individuals use these sessions to assess whether they truly want to make a particular change.
New Directions
For the executive who is seeking a renewed sense of purpose in his or her life and wants to take an introspective journey. We examine every aspect of your personal and professional life, including your emotional, physical and spiritual health, looking for new meanings and connections. This program involves reading assignments and reflection.
Renewing & Sustaining Leadership
For leaders who feel overwhelmed by their responsibilities, or who are facing a new challenge or conflict within their organization, or who are wanting to redefine the culture of their organization. We examine both the culture and purpose of your organization and your personal goals and values, as well as your managerial and work habits, in order to identify what you need in order to sustain your vitality as a leader. We develop specific plans around opportunities for you to “catch a second wind.”
Leadership Team Life Balance Session (limited to 5 people)
How do you sustain leadership over an extended period of time? This question has perplexed most organizations and is often cited as a managerial crisis. In this program we examine the imbalances that are impairing sustained leadership. We examine both what’s out-of-balance with the leadership of the organization and each leader’s own individual relationship to the organization. Each leader does a personal life balance assessment to identify areas of incongruence that prevent sustainable leadership. Possible areas of examination include fostering new ideas, creating change in your organization, addressing morale problems, and clarifying direction.
Non-profit rates are available for both teams and individual leaders.
